1hr 30min, up the creek to disused damsite

One Mile Creek Track leads along the creek, up through the native beech forest of Queenstown. Following the old pipeline the disused damsite is soon reached. The dam was once a source of water for town water supply and later for hydro electricity.
If you would like to hike some more you can continue up to the Skyline Access Road which connects to the Fernhill Loop or the Ben Lomond Track. Otherwise you can return back the way you came.
On your walk along the creek you will be accompanied by many native birds of New Zealand: Tui, Bellbird, Fentail, just to mention but a few.
