The Shotover River is located in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand.
The Dart Rivers shallow braided channels flow through rugged forested country in the region of Otago, on the South Island of New Zealand.
"Te Awa Wakatipu" flows partly in Mount Aspiring National Park. From its headwaters in the Southern Alps, the Dart River flows southwards for about 60 kilometres, eventually flowing into the northern end of Lake Wakatipu near Glenorchy. Several popular tramping tracks are found nearby, notably the Rees-Dart Track, which follows the valley of the Dart and the nearby Rees River.
